While I’ve covered many events at Los Angeles’ historic Greek Theatre, I believe this is the only movie premiere I photographed there. While the movie starred Russell Brand and Jonah Hill, it was Brand’s girlfriend at the time Katy Perry and her silver sequin gown that definitely commanded attention on the red carpet. Katy was originally in the movie, however, her scenes were deleted.

The premiere was a star-studded event. With a big list of talent in the movie, many of the film’s stars made an appearance. From Rose Byrne in a black mini to Elisabeth Moss who was beaming in a strapless gown. Producer of the movie Judd Apatow stopped by with a smile. Kali Hawk wore a form fitting black dress and some very unique jewelry. Also in the movie and on the red carpet were Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kristen Bell, Colm Meaney and Mario Lopez.
