Whenever Jim Carrey makes a movie, lots of funny people show up to his premieres. Such was the case at the world premiere of “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events” from Paramount Pictures. Held at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, the event benefited Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
The movie’s co-star, Meryl Streep, always seems to be holding court when she’s on the carpet!
Leelee Sobieski, who always has impeccable makeup when on the carpet (I’m a photographer … I’m supposed to notice these things!), wanted to be sure we noticed her pig pin!
A wide shot of George Lopez kind of gives an idea of the pandemonium that occurs are celebrity events.
Additional cast members attending included; Billy Connolly, Catherine O’Hara, Emily Browning, Jennifer Coolidge, Kara Hoffman, and Liam Aiken. They were joined by Sumner Redstone, Chairman of Viacom, with his wife Paula Fortunato, and Sherry Lansing, Chairman of Paramount Pictures, who came with her husband, director William Friedkin.
Other guests on the blue carpet included; Amy Brenneman, Catherine Bell with her daughter Gemma, Charlotte Ross, Chris Kattan and guest Meg Guillentine, Christine Lahti, Elisabeth Shue, Emma Roberts, Erik Per Sullivan, Ione Skye, Jane Seymour, Jon Voight, Lacey Chabert, Leelee Sobieski, LeVar Burton, Marlee Matlin, Martin Short, Rita Wilson, Skyler Shaye, and Suzan Hughes.
